Carr & Ferrell to Sponsor and Attend TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2011
Our firm is proud to announce our participation as a sponsor at this year's TechCrunch Disrupt 2011 in San Francisco. The event will draw top high tech thought leaders to discuss entrepreneurship and industry, as well as startup companies hoping to raise venture capital.
For two decades Carr & Ferrell LLP has worked with Silicon Valley startup companies to protect, leverage and grow their intellectual property assets. As part of its broader effort to support continued local innovation and entrepreneurship, Carr & Ferrell is proud to announce that it will be sponsoring TechCrunch’s upcoming Disrupt SF, 2011 from September 12th to the 14th.
The Conference, which will take place at the San Francisco Design Center Concourse, will bring together high technology thought leaders and entrepreneurs to discuss and debate the latest technology disruptions in two distinct programs: Thought Leaders and Startup Battlefield. The conference agenda is built around discussions of various “now” themes in technology, as well as afternoon programs during which start-ups present their technology, business and marketing disruptions in a tournament-style launch competition.
The conference is a highly participatory, single-track program attracting over 2000 attendees, including top CXO’s, VC’s, start-up innovators, corporate executives and media mavens. Additionally, the conference will be live streamed live to more than 250,000 online viewers.
“We are so pleased at the opportunity to support and participate in this tremendous event,” firm co-founder John Ferrell said of the conference. “Disrupt offers such a unique chance for us to meet with some of Silicon Valley’s freshest innovators and entrepreneurs, and we look forward to helping them to thrive through strategic intellectual property protection.”
With nearly twenty years of experience working with hundreds of technology startups in Silicon Valley and around the globe, Carr & Ferrell attorneys combine unparalleled experience with industry-specific technical expertise to deliver turn-key legal services for clients at every stage of development – from the independent inventor to the multinational corporation.
Representatives from the firm look forward to exhibiting at the conference’s Startup 411 area. To schedule a time to meet with Mr. Ferrell at the expo, please contact Be’Anka Macey at (650) 812 – 3470.
