Leah is Senior Counsel in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Carr & Ferrell LLP. Leah specializes in intellectual property law matters including the preparation and prosecution of U.S. patent applications, strategic intellectual property planning and patent portfolio management for both established and start-up clients. Her practice further includes due diligence related to mergers, acquisitions, and venture capital investments.
Leah has experience in the preparation and prosecution of patents, the analysis of patent invalidity and infringement issues, the management of domestic and international patent portfolios, and the preparation of opinions. Leah has experience in a broad range of technology, including biotechnology, pharmaceutics, medical devices, hardware, software, mechanical devices, and e-commerce.
Prior to joining Carr & Ferrell, Leah worked for a local law firm, as well as at a pharmaceutical company handling intellectual property matters.
