Laurie Rose Lubiano is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Carr &
Ferrell. Ms. Lubiano specializes in intellectual property law matters including strategic intellectual
property planning, patent portfolio assessments and patent portfolio management
for both established and start-up clients. She has been a member of Carr & Ferrell’s Intellectual
Property Group since 2008.
Prior to joining Carr & Ferrell, Ms. Lubiano worked as an office manager and patent
paralegal at a Silicon Valley-based law firm. While in law school, Ms. Lubiano interned with
Sun Microsystems and the Law Office of Michael P. Guingona. She also clerked for the Los
Angeles City Attorney’s Office and was a summer associate at a prominent firm in
Washington, D.C.
