Eric Ramberg is a Patent Agent in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Carr & Ferrell. His recent prosecution experience includes sensors, high throughput automation, nanotechnology, pollution control equipment, ceramic processing, and software.

Prior to joining Carr & Ferrell, Dr. Ramberg was a private practitioner. Before practicing patent prosecution, he was a Principal at a venture capital firm, focused on early stage investments in the energy, clean technology and transportation sectors. Earlier in his career, Dr. Ramberg spent six years as a scientist and program manager at a venture backed start-up, developing low-k dielectrics, bulk metallic glasses, ferromagnetic semiconductors, lubricants, thermoelectric materials, polymers and heterogeneous catalysts. He has broad expertise in the synthesis and characterization of materials.

Dr. Ramberg performed post doctoral research for EDF (Electricité de France) as an American Nuclear Society Exchange Fellow, and at the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble as a Chateaubriand Fellow.
